Please see the attached press release announcing that Trenton Moeller will be the next head football coach for the Versailles Tiger Football program. He will also be teaching physical education at the high school.

DISTRICT NAMES TRENTON MOELLER AS HEAD FOOTBALL COACH OF THE VERSAILLES TIGERS

Versailles, MO –The Morgan County R-II School District is excited to announce that Trenton Moeller will be the next head coach for the Versailles Tiger football program.

Coach Moeller grew up in Webb City, Missouri. He brings experience as a teacher, coach, and school leader, with a strong focus on helping student-athletes succeed on and off the field.

“I am excited to serve as the next head football coach at Versailles High School and to be back home in Missouri,” said Coach Moeller. “I’m grateful to join a strong group of assistant coaches and build on the foundation already in place. We’re committed to developing our players and building a program our school and community are proud of. Go Tigers!”

Coach Moeller will also teach physical education at Versailles High School. His wife, Allison Moeller, will be a special education teacher at Versailles Middle School. The Moellers are excited to join the Versailles community and connect with students, staff, and families.

He earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Pittsburg State University and a bachelor’s degree in education from Missouri Southern State University. He is certified to teach physical education (K–12), middle level math, and health (K–12). At Missouri Southern State University, he was named Physical Education Major of the Year and played baseball as a pitcher.

Coach Moeller currently serves as the varsity head football coach at Ohio County High School in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. His experience includes roles as an associate head coach, defensive coordinator, and assistant athletic director, along with coaching baseball, basketball, and strength and conditioning.

He believes in hard work, teamwork, and building strong relationships with his players.

District leaders believe Coach Moeller’s experience and leadership will have a positive impact on the Versailles football program and school community.
