ANSWERS


1) Q: Where may I find information about school calendars?

A: You will find most of the answers to your calendar questions by clicking going to our District Calendar page here. If you have a calendar question specific to your child's school or teacher, please visit the school's website (choose your school in the "Schools" drop down menu at the top of this page. Versailles Elementary has an Elementary Calendar which is linked via their building page, while our MS & HS have a bulletin page. If you don't find the event/information you're looking for, please call your child's school or our Communications Services at (573) 378-4145.


2) Q: My family is new to the district. How do I register my child?
A: Our building office secretaries are here to assist families new to our district. If you have a student in Grades PK-5, call (573) 378-4272. If you have a student in Grades 6-8, call (573) 378-5432. If you have a student in Grades 9-12, call (573) 378-4697.


3) Q: I want to know more about the A+ Program for high school students.
A: Visit the 
A+ Program page here or contact our high school counselor's office to to speak with a counselor, (573) 378-4697.


4) Q: When is graduation at Morgan County R-II?
A: Information about Versailles High School events, including graduation, can be found at the

5) Q: Where can I find breakfast and lunch menus?
A: Breakfast and lunch menus can be found by selecting the 
Menu button located on the district home page - or following this link (new link coming soon). 


6) Q: I need information about which school my child will attend. Who do I contact?
A: The district has one early childhood center (Little Tigers Early Learning Center) for students receiving ECSE services or attending preschool (Must be 4 years of age prior to July 31st of the upcoming school year). The district has one elementary school (Versailles Elementary) for grades K-5, one middle school (Versailles Middle School) for grades 6-8, and one high school (Versailles High School) for grades 9-12. If you would like to know what bus your student will ride based on your address or to see if you are living in district boundaries, please contact the district's
Transportation Department, please call (573) 569-7015.


7) Q: Where can I find the District Report Card and other important data about the schools?
A: You can find our district's report card via the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education website or via our district website
here.

14) Q: I would like special updates of school issues and emergency information. How do I get alerts?
A: The Morgan County R-II School District provides phone, text and email alerts to all families and staff through our mass notification system known as School Messenger. See
 more info about that notification system here. If you are a parent and you believe you did not receive an alert from either your child's school or the district, please contact your child's school and double-check to make sure your phone number is correctly entered into the district database.


If you are a staff member and you did not receive an alert from either the district or your assigned building, please contact your assigned school building office first to double-check and make sure your phone number is correctly entered into the district database. If they are not able to assist you, please contact the district's School Messenger administrator, Nicole Whitfield, at (573) 378-4145 x1280.


15) Q: Where can I find school-required immunization information?
A: Please call your student's school building office or nurse with any questions regarding state-recommended/school-required immunization.


16) Q: I would like to view the student handbook for my child's school. Where is it located?
A: The school's have their handbook in linked via the menu at the top-left of their building homepage. You can access school websites by choosing a building in the "
Schools" drop down menu at the top of this page.


17) Q: I am looking for maps of the district. How do I locate these?
A: You'll find a basic 
map of the district by going to the Transportation Office page or see a more detailed version by calling the Transportation Office at (573) 569-7015 to schedule a visit.


18) Q: I am interested in tracking my child's progress in school, does the district provide a "parent portal" to student grades, attendance, etc.?
A: The district uses Infinite Campus'
Campus Parent as the parent portal to their child's grade, attendance and related data. Parents can sign up for the Parent Portal by calling their student's assigned building office.


19) Q: I would like weekly news and updates on the school district. How do I get them?
A: We recommend that you visit our
district website on a regular basis, as well as follow our district social media pages via Facebook or Instagram pages. Buildings will provide newsletters and notices as needed.
