New Campus Traffic Pattern - Middle School/Elementary Parking Lot Exit at Main Campus
A new exit is ready for the 2026–2027 school year!A new exit was added to the main campus parking lot in front of Versailles Middle School and Versailles Elementary School. Please be aware it is an exit only. The new exit was completed to help reduce congestion and make drop-off and pick-up easier. However, it is important to be aware of and understand new traffic patterns created by the new exit.

The maps show the new traffic patterns. Please take time to review them before coming to school.A few reminders:
- Do not enter the new exit. It is an exit only.
- Please follow the traffic patterns, any posted signs, or painted arrows.
- Please follow directions from School Resource Officers (SROs) and school staff during drop-off and pick up.
- Yield to oncoming traffic and pedestrians.
- Please use a parking space if you must park for an extended period of time beyond the normal for drop off and pick up.
- Please be patient during the first few days as everyone learns the new traffic pattern.
- Allow yourself extra time when coming to campus while everyone learns the new traffice patterns in and out of this parking lot.
- Please be extra cautious and watch for oncoming traffic when leaving the parking lot and entering the roadway.
- Please keep your eyes on the road when driving in and around the parking lot. This will ensure all students and staff are safe when walking through the parking lot. This also keeps you safe!
Our goal is safe, smooth, and less congested traffic for everyone. We will need your help. Thank you for helping us make the new system work!
Middle School Families
If you are dropping off or picking up only a middle school student:- Enter using the entrance near Walmart/Central Office off of Hwy 52/W. Newton Street.
- Follow the lane around by the parking spaces in front of/nearest the middle school entrance.
- Yield to oncoming traffic from the elementary building. This may include families who are picking up or dropping off elementary students.
- Exit using the same entrance near Walmart/Central Office. Be sure to stop at the stop sign before leaving the parking lot, and yield to oncoming traffic.

Elementary Families
If you are dropping off or picking up only elementary students:- Enter using the entrance near the elementary playground/elementary building off of Hwy. 52/W. Newton Street.
- At the top of the driveway off of the elementary entrance to the elementary building, choose the top or bottom lane shown on the map.
- When leaving the parking lot, it is recommended that these families follow traffic pattern and exit using the new exit (those only dropping off elementary students).
- Families in either lane should yield to any oncoming traffic from the top or bottom lane.

Families With Both Elementary & Middle School Students
If you have students in both the Elementary and Middle School buildings:Drop Off/Pick up your elementary student.
- It is highly recommended that you try to use the top lane closest to the elementary entrance whenever possible. This will allow you to continue forward to the middle school.
- After picking up your elementary student, continue toward the middle school entrance.
- Yield to oncoming middle school traffic and pick up your middle school student(s) if necessary.
- Continue out through the entrance near Walmart/Central Office to exit the parking lot or head to the high school parking if needed.
