MCR-II Families,

The Morgan County R-II School District is deeply saddened by the recent passing of a former student and graduate who was also the daughter of one of our elementary teachers. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with her family, friends, and all who knew her during this difficult time.

To allow staff and students the opportunity to attend the funeral services and support the family, the district will be closed on Thursday, November 13. This day will not be made up later in the school year.

We understand this closure may be an inconvenience for some families and sincerely appreciate the compassion and understanding of our school community as we come together to honor her memory.
