The Communications and Technology Services are dedicated to creating a safe and secure environment that equips all students, staff, and the community to apply the skills and knowledge in the areas of Communications (e.g. branding, community engagement, media, notification systems,  social media, and Web) and Technology to achieve Tiger Excellence and prepare for a changing world.

    Nicole Whitfield brings over 20 years of experience in education, beginning her career as an elementary art teacher in the Morgan County R-II School District in 2002. After seven years in the classroom, she earned her Education Specialist degree in 2008 and transitioned to Instructional Technology Coordinator and Webmaster in 2009. In addition to this, she also began managing the district's social media and other communications systems that year. Her work also focuses on technology and communications planning, professional development, and support. She has assisted the district through its transition from Tyler SIS to Infinite Campus and in its state and federal reporting processes (MOSIS, CoreData, and CRDC). Mrs. Whitfield's commitment to education and public relations goes beyond the K-12 classroom having taught undergraduate computer science courses for Columbia College and graduate education courses for William Woods University. Currently, she is preparing for her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) exam, she will also present a PR plan to an APR panel as part of this process.

    With over 20 years of experience, Aaron Whitfield offers a wealth of expertise in business management, computer networking, data, and cybersecurity, making him a valuable asset to the Technology Department. Mr. Whitfield is responsible for overseeing the work of the district computer technicians.

    Rich Williams serves as a computer technician for the Morgan County R-II School District, where he ensures the seamless operation of district hardware, enabling administration, faculty, staff, and students to work efficiently and effectively. He also manages the 1:1 program, overseeing device allocation, maintenance, and repair. In addition to his technical role, Rich is a middle school football coach at Versailles Middle School, with prior experience coaching high school basketball and football. A proud graduate of the Morgan County R-II School District, he is deeply committed to supporting both the district’s technology and athletic programs.

    James Turner serves as a computer technician for the Morgan County R-II School District, where he assists the Technology Coordinator and teachers with classroom management of devices through the use of GoGuardian. He also assists the Technology Coordinator with installation and access to security cameras throughout the district. When not focused on GoGuardian or security cameras he works to ensure that district hardware is running properly. Originally from Georgia, James moved to Missouri where he met his wife who is a teacher in the district and together they have three kids who are Tigers.
