Elementary News & Information:
This year the elementary buildings are conducting a Fall fundraising project. The Fall fundraising project is a Spell-a-thon. The money that is collected will go towards adding technology, specifically Chromebooks, to our first and second grade classrooms. The goal is to have 4 Chromebooks for every first and second grade classroom. To be able to fund their goal, they will need to raise $10,000. If you have a student in the elementary buildings you should have received information regarding the Spell-a-thon already. We have also posted the information for the Spell-a-thon via our district website at the following Web address:http://www.mcr2.k12.mo.us/elementary-spell-a-thon.html
Pledges are due by September 18th.
Congratulations to Melissa Howard who won our Summer 2015 Tiger Pride Facebook Contest! She sent in a picture of herself wearing her Tiger Pride in Times Square in New York City, NY. She travelled to a place that was both unique and far away from Morgan County. For this contest, Melissa won a free athletic season pass.
Also, don't forget to send us a possible name for our new Tiger mascot! If you submit a name you can have a chance to win a Tiger Pride Roar Store Fan Pack! You could win some great Tiger gear to show your Tiger Pride! We are taking ideas for possible names until this Thursday, September 17th. You can submit names by sending us a message here on Facebook, by sending an email to the district email address (firstname.lastname@example.org), or by commenting on this post.#TigerPride
