Graduation will be in the high school gym tomorrow evening. Doors open at 6:00 pm, ceremony starts at 8:00 pm.
We will have a parent and high school athlete all sports meeting on Thursday May 21st at 6 pm in the high school commons. This will be an informational meeting regarding summer items as well as the actual 2015-16 sports season as well. Four middle school students and eight high school students recently participated in the District Industrial Arts Contest held on the campus of the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. Traditionally, there are 12-15 schools and 200 or more project entries in that contest. All 16 of our projects taken to district contest received a 1 rating. Adam Studna, Olivia Heisler, Jonathan Flieger, Kaden Wilson, and Tyler Zolecki each qualified for state contest. The state contest was held on May 5th. There were over 600 entries at the contest. All six projects that qualified for state contest received a 1 rating.
Adam Studna is the Grand Award winner finishing #1 in the state. Industrial Arts instructor, Layne Edgington, stated, "Our student's craftsmanship and creativity represented our school very well against the rest of the state." Way to go Tigers! #TigerPride #UnitedForTigerExcellence
Don't forget! Come out tonight to see the art fair from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the elementary talent show in the Versailles Elementary gym starting at 6 p.m., and the VHS Pride-Time Players presents Performing Arts Night "Showtime Shenanigans" starting at 7 p.m. in the high school commons.

Due to impending weather, the Tiger Track Meet is being rescheduled for Tuesday, May 12th at 11:00 a.m. The evening performance (for parents) of the Talent Show will take place this evening at 6:00 p.m. as planned. However, the daytime performance (for students only) will be rescheduled for next Tuesday morning before the track meet.
Congratulations to all of the 5th grade classes on a successful science fair! All of the students did a wonderful job on their science fair projects.
